A meeting was held between Mr. Tamaki Tsukada, the ambassador of Japan, and Dr. Mikiko Senga, the representative of the World Health Organization (WHO), with the Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari Governor's Coordination Vice-chancellor of Economic Affairs, the representative of the people of Shahrekord, Ben, Saman, and Farrokhshahr Counties, and a group of members of Shahrekord University of Medical Sciences' Board of Directors.

Prof. Mohammad Hossein Aarabi, the Chancellor of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari University of Medical Sciences, attended the meeting in the form of a webinar following the national conference of chancellors of medical sciences universities of the country with the presence of the highest official of the Ministry of Health and Medical Education in Mashhad.

In this meeting, Prof. Morteza Dehghan, Vice-chancellor of Education, Dr. Ali Mokhtari, Vice-chancellor of Treatment, and Dr. Seyed-Mohammad Omrani, Vice-chancellor of Research and Technology of the University, spoke with a focus on increasing interactions and cooperation in the direction of developing the health sector, holding joint courses to empower professors and superspecialists of the province, and developing joint research measures.

Last year, an MRI machine with a power of 1.5 Tesla and Siemens brand was brought to Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province from Japan and through the World Health Organization (WHO).
